The sky, we see it everyday, we dwell beneath it and travel through
it but do we stop to consider the sky. The vast emptiness broken only by the clouds that flow like cotton candy adrift.
I love to look at clouds, their ever changing shapes and textures prod my imagination to capture the mysteries they
posses. Some are dark and foreboding while others perform a surreal dance of light and dark.
For me, part of the thrill is what the viewer
takes from the images. Though I have created them, these images have a life of their own. Each individual can derive what
these shapes and textures become for them.
The sky is everywhere and I carry a camera where ever I go to capture the beauty that moves above
us. Presenting these images in black and white emphases the shapes, textures and allows the minds eye to choose to add color
or not.
